Old Trail Village resident and professional photographer Angie Brement will be taking pictures of families who come to see Santa at our Old Trail Village Center Holiday Celebration and Open House next Saturday, Dec. 5th, 10 am-1 pm. at Trailside Coffee.

In lieu of payment for her photography services, Angie is instead asking for a donation for the Toy Lift, an annual giving event in Charlottesville/Albemarle serving young people across our community - providing joy, books, toys, and bicycles to families who cannot afford presents for their young ones.  You may bring cash or checks made payable to Kids Lift.

This special Santa fundraiser is in addition to our OTVC-wide food collection for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.  Help local families during this holiday season and celebrate with the merchants of the Old Trail Village Center!

Beights Corporation proudly announces the addition of Advanced Center for Physical Therapy to the merchants of the Old Trail Village Center, located in Crozet.  Opening in May, Advanced Center for Physical Therapy will offer rehabilitative services for the treatment and relief of: chronic pain, back and neck problems, sports injuries, and trauma, as well as balance and strength improvement for those experiencing reduced mobility.  With current locations in Charlottesville and Greene County, the addition of a Crozet facility allows this rapidly-growing practice to serve the residents of Western Albemarle, Nelson, and Augusta counties.

The founders of ACPT, Jim and Melissa Schmidt, have practiced as physical therapists both in hospital and home-care settings, focusing on the whole person’s recovery and return to health no matter their age or physical condition.  For them, treating each patient with respect and care is their primary goal, supporting their mission of restoring hope through legendary service.

Says CEO Jim Schmidt of the addition of their Crozet practice,

“Our business has grown rapidly and we needed to expand; we wanted to better serve our Western Albemarle patients with a Crozet location.  We found Old Trail Village to be the perfect setting for our business - the ideals and commitment of the Beights to creating a community of merchants resonated with our values.”

Planning and construction has begun for the new ACPT space, which is located adjacent to the Old Trail Welcome Center between Augusta Health Internal Medicine and ACAC Fitness and Wellness Center.  Gaylon Beights, President of Beights Corporation, said, “I think ACPT is a perfect complement to the other businesses here in Old Trail and the greater Crozet area - the Schmidt’s are wonderful people and a great addition to our OTVC merchant family.”

With the addition of Advanced Center for Physical Therapy (www.advancedcpt.com), the Old Trail Village Center has fully leased its original commercial space, with all existing businesses now open.  The apartments of the Village Center are also nearly fully occupied with only 10 units available for lease.

Come get pictures with Santa, Saturday, December 5th, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Trailside Coffee, located in the Old Trail Village Center. Bring your whole family for a group portrait with our jolly visitor - a professional photographer will be on-hand.

Santa’s visit is the beginning of our month-long Open House Holiday Celebration in our new Village Center!  Our merchants will have open house specials, treats, and of course - pretty holiday decorations for your enjoyment.

In addition to the joyful celebration of this holiday season, we are also expressing the Old Trail Village charitable spirit by continuing our food drive.  The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is in dire need of food for our area families.  As such, the merchants of the Old Trail Village Center are collecting food for the Food Bank throughout the month of December.  Just bring your canned food items/dry goods to Trailside Coffee or the Old Trail Welcome Center between now and January 1.
