The architectural, landscape, and town-planning design of Old Trail is in keeping with the tenets of a traditional development to create a vital, functional community. The buildings, streetscape and open areas will be kept to a human scale, with careful consideration given to the design of all components that comprise a successful, livable community.

To achieve this end, guidelines have been created to give strong direction to the builders who will participate in the creation of Old Trail.

The Old Trail Architectural Review Board was created to review all proposed buildings and site designs. The process will include a preliminary review of schematic designs and a final review of completed drawings. The ARB is responsible for the overall character of the Old Trail community and will be firm in applying the necessary standards to achieve the desired aesthetic result.
